Negative Thoughts – Pandora’s Box of Self Fulfilling Prophecy.

Pandora’s Box of Self Fulfilling Prophecy

thoughts Pandoras Box

A client recently told me that he had a problem with having visions of tragedy happening to people around him, and even to himself. He claimed that even though these deep thoughts were only that, he continually had a fear he could be influencing the outcome of events in a negative direction. What he wanted to know how to deal with and eliminate this types of negative attitudes and thinking.

Most people have had this type of thing happen along their path in life. It is not a unique circumstance. What makes it feel unique is you do not want to talk about it. It is uncomfortable. You may feel exposed, even though the thoughts are not the thoughts you want or choose to have.

Terrible Thoughts

Do you find yourself thinking about terrible things happening to you or to people around you? Events that people often think about are car crashes, tragedy, murders, and catastrophe. Many of these events will involve people they love, friends, family, and enemies. Even harming themselves does not escape this picture. Why?

Why Think Tragic Thoughts?

To answer that, we must look at some other issues first. If a person is occasionally or even constantly thinking about harm coming to people, results can be benign to dangerous. The personality of most people afflicted by such will have a lower self esteem and a degraded sense of self-worth. Maybe they want to rebel against all those perceived people that have kept them in their position of want. Maybe they feel it is the only way they can rebel without doing anything physically in the real world. Quite often this results in anxiety and depression.

What if the person experiencing these automated thoughts is not a negatively driven person (has a list of negative attitudes), and doesn’t have any reason to have such terrible deep thoughts on life? Even though they don’t think the events will happen, and hope they will not happen, it is the terrible possibility that they could happen. That is why it can be a very scary situation they are dealing with. You could imagine that same person not wanting to seek professional help, or telling someone about it, in case it did come true.

The worst case scenario happens when someone having these thoughts of retribution carry them through with a real action. It could be the person has been stressed out and depressed. Since a major portion of the population is taking anti-depressants, serotonin uptake inhibitors, and both legal and illegal drugs, it is quite common that there are plenty of problems already. When compounded with sudden thoughts of dire events, the results you could expect from the normal person can swing to the extreme, even hallucinations the ‘thought of’ event is actually happening, while they are in the middle of it all. It reminds me of post-traumatic stress disorder war veterans’ experience.  Even sudden changes in psychotropic drugs can turn an ordinary person psychotic or suicidal.

  The Smoking Gun

Common sense would suggest that there must be some way these errant thoughts must be getting into your mind in the first place. Most people that typically would not have negative thoughts, or don’t want to think about things like that, would not be thinking about them unless there was some type of common demonstration or platform where they had witnessed those types of occurrences.

Have you noticed the incredible amount of grotesque murders, mutilations, and heinous crimes that are shown on television? The spectacular number of police and CSI shows abound.  As the roast beef and turkey is sliced up during the family meal, cadavers on the mortuary slab are being cut apart in the background. (Remember, even when it is in the background, your brain automatically takes it and stores it with all of its gory detail, to access later.)

Your Mental Abuse – It is All About Money

Hollywood has created a staggering number of tragedy movies and shows like never before; too many to fill the slots after the kiddies go off to bed. These thrillers are prime time! If you visit a friend, and you see the television ON, with a cop show, ask to turn it OFF while you have your conversation. More than likely you will be the one getting the ‘if looks could kill’ look.

Now, back to the question:  Why, would people be capable of these random terrible thoughts when they are not terrible people? More to the point, where are the thoughts coming from in the first place? The most obvious answer is the television. Sure, there is other types of media, but none have the impact of television. Since television is the most observed form of media, it also runs first place here as well.

The bigger question is, “What should you do about it?” Start by changing the channel, if that doesn’t work because they all have negatively geared shows, then learn to use the one button some people never touch – the “OFF” button. Find something more constructive to do with your time.

Prologue:

I sincerely hope the client finds peace within his mind someday. Using our methods of finding direction in life should make his task easier. Discipline and meditation are the keys to knowing yourself and knowing what outside influences may be getting in the way of creating the best life for yourself.

 Self Applied Guilt

Guilt is a very powerful device when it is associated with something you have done of your own accord. But guilt is a terrible thing when it is associated with contrived events that don’t exist. Since this guilt has no base except for your beliefs, it is more difficult to eradicate that sense of unfounded guilt. If you find this is holding you back in life, then you may need to seek counsel with someone you trust or a professional.

We want to see everyone move forward in life in a positive way. That also means you need to address the things that are holding you back from being your best. When you build a strong foundation of discipline and mental alacrity, then you can handle much more of the onslaught than the person that is mentally apathetic. Come out of self applied guilt!

Happy Clients Give Great Testimonials – Thank You

A Very Happy Satisfied Client Writes…

Thank you so much for everything, I have learned so much in my journey and it´s only getting better and better. Your insights are of tremendous value and without it I wouldn´t have this acceleration. I would have never imagined that it would be possible to change beliefs on the fly.

Amazing!

Here are a few of the gains I have made over this short time since doing the training:

Increase in confidence

A significant increase in how I handle issues that life’s throws at me, I have the tools that allow me get out of the role of being a victim. My internal voice is not sabotaging me as much as it did in the past, matter of fact it´s quiet most of the time.

Loving myself

It increased my self-esteem. During that process I let go of guilt and resentment towards other people. I let go of the guilt I had stored unconsciously.

Restored balance in my own family

I projected my own insecurities on the people whom I actually hold very close and I have realized how my behavior has impacted them and their life. Thanks to programming I restored my relationships in an accelerated manner.

Appreciation of what I have in my life

Each programming session I state 10 things that I am grateful for, ranging from money, to family, friendships and personal growth. As a result I feel more positive and happy!

Mental Clarity

I experience increased clarity of what I want to achieve, and my purpose in life.

Law of Attraction

I was a skeptic initially. I have opened doors that otherwise wouldn´t be visible. This also includes the lessons I learned if and when you don´t follow the guidelines. The lesson I learned was pertaining to “claiming good to all concerned”, I programmed to get accepted at a university, which rejected me before, and on the phone I got told that it wouldn´t be possible. Manipulating the Law of Attraction without the safeguards in place made sure I got accepted at the university, but due to neglecting “claiming good to all concerned” I got unpleasant surprises that came along with it.

Many programs set for automatic gains

I bought a goal setting book (the type with the fancy leather cover), which I divided in several areas of interest.  My personal growth goals have been set on an “automatic” development; I am able to cross out a lot of them.

Problems solved

Used with problem solving, the technique has solved obstacles in accelerated ways I never expected.

Increased awareness and intuition

I now have increased access to my intuition, hindsight, foresight, insight and epiphanies. This has been a tremendous aid in my life and has supported me in my intellectual pursuits, reflections, decision making, marshalling resources, and making explorations. I am currently still looking to deepen that further. I know that it is all possible.

Mental Connectivity

My ability to make faster connections has increased significantly as a result my intellectual pursuits.

Beliefs

This training has made me realize the importance of beliefs and how they impact my creation of my own reality.

Please use my experiences here to get the word out to the rest of the world. I would never have believed how much 1 training could help me so much, in so many ways. I needed it. It has helped me to find my true self, empowered me, and has improved my life in so many ways. Everyone should be doing your training, without exception.

Thank You for teaching me how to find the truth.

A. A.

After that, there is not much left for me to say, except thank you!

If You’re Happy and You Know it… Clap Your Hands

Your Search For Happiness

Are You Truthful When You Say that You are Happy?

Most people actually do not know what it means to be happy, or what it takes to get there. The easiest example of this is the Self Improvement Industry. The Self Improvement industry caters to Unhappy people. It is our desire to be happy, happier, or a better person tomorrow than we are today. We are striving to be happy. As you know, they are many roads that lead to happiness, but few find that destination. Here is how to find happiness.

Many Roads Lead to Happiness – Few Find That Destination

You may remember hearing the hit single ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. Bobby Mcferiin’s simple message surely made a lot of people by telling them not to worry.

Most of us would love to trade the worrisome life we have with one of carefree spontaneity. The joy of sleeping out under the stars on some remote sandy beach on a warm night with those you care most about. What an ideal picture to base life upon. Some of us actually do just that! You may have other preferences what your ideal life is like. Do you live it? Consider yourself lucky if you do.

Health Benefits of Being Happy

Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health and fitness. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

Increasing happiness and finding happiness in life is a way to make a life more wonderful and also more healthy.

Even Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.

Pave a Path to Happiness

Here are a few ways by which you can do this:

Being grateful is a great attitude.  We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mails, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.

News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can’t start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.

Laugh and laugh heartily every day.  Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say -‘Laughter is the best medicine’. … And laugh at the News you do get; although some will not understand why.

Work on things that you feel worthy of your time. It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value.

Learning is a joyful exercise. Learn something new every day.  Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future.

Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive.

Avoid exposure to negative elements like loud noises, toxins and hazardous places. But for those of you that live in those types of places, like many big cities, use meditation or prayer to quiet your mind from within. Then you can take back your world one small piece at a time.

These are the few simple things you can do everyday to be happy.

Life is too short. Learn to enjoy it!

When Disaster Strikes – Who do You Call?

When Disaster Strikes

Who do You Call?

Brain Management!

brain management
Disasters hit us on all levels of life. It can be the latest hurricane, earthquake, tidal wave, or any other natural disaster; it can be personal tragedy or it can be something small like dropping that ‘first cup of coffee’ on the floor as you are running out the door – you just know you are going to have a bad day. Disasters come in all shapes and sizes.

(To my Readers: Life is full of emotions, feelings, events, circumstances, and more. Some things in life are not comfortable to think about. Mind To Mind – The Brain Accelerator has always been about stimulating growth and providing intrigue. An interesting thing about life is you can make gains from even the most adverse of situations. We call these “Lessons”. Please read on…)

Discovering a Disaster

Disasters cause us to feel like less of the person we know we are. We lose self-worth.  They make us feel small and impotent. It may be overwhelming, even when others see it as a minor inconvenience. So, really, it is our perception that turns events into disasters for us. Most of all, disasters can impact a little, or all of your life.

Disasters Provide

Disasters teach us many things if we are willing to listen and observe. They teach us strength. They teach us resiliency. Disasters teach you to be more; an improved version of your old self. Disasters force you to look at yourself in a different way. Think of how you perform in a disaster or crisis. Alas, most of us don’t perform very well at all. Why? Because most people are not trained to handle such moments; and they rely on others who are.

Preparing for a Disaster

Disasters come in all shapes and sizes. They can be natural disasters, such as tsunamis and tornadoes. Or they can be man-made, like war, terrorism, and economic collapse. And again, disasters can be events in your life that create a difficult circumstance for you. You would spend your whole life preparing if you were to prepare for all crises. But there is a way that will give you the edge for coping with disasters. Condition your mind.

Condition Your Mind for Disasters

I told you about people that are steadfast in their ability to deal with disasters of whatever making. So, what makes them different from you? (This assumes you are not one of those people already, you know the types of disaster management.) The one thing that all of them have in common, no matter what their disaster specialty, is they have undergone mental training that helps them with ALL disasters. It is a part of their conditioning. Does it make them callous and uncaring? Of course not! It simply means they can assess and help others in those situations without “losing their head”.

Brain Management for Disasters

Take steps to strengthen your mental state for dealing with disasters:

Gain access to your subconscious. Your subconscious is most easily reached with meditation or prayer. Learn the basic proper methods for using these techniques. Start doing this first. It may take you some time to build the relationship with your subconscious mind.

Make a comprehensive list of the qualities you want to achieve. Some of these qualities will be about how you react and behave in emergency, crisis, and disaster events. Learn how to build your own simple and effective programs for installing these qualities in you your subconscious while you are meditating. This is the first proactive step to creating your desired outcome.

Observe yourself. After you have the programs installed into your subconscious, observe how you behave and react, especially when you are confronted with a crisis or emergency. Compare these new reactions to how you would have previously reacted to a crisis or emergency.

The steps I have given you are very simple. But there is more to it than that. There are other things you can do to amplify your results, or to get the results quicker.

Facing an Emergency, Crisis, or Disaster

Here is the “crux” of this exercise. Don’t ask how to do all this overnight, and expect it to just work. TOO LATE!… I see it all the time. People wait, and wait, and wait, until the right time. Face it! There is NO RIGHT TIME! Your pursuit requires you to be prepared. That means taking steps consistently for months, maybe years in advance. That is the same steps those with training and mental conditioning have done before you. Those are the same basic steps you must do too.

An Alternative to Shorten Disaster Training Time.

We just painted a picture for you that you would be spending a considerable amount of time walking in the well-trodden footsteps of others that have gone before you. The truth is, there is a simple way to absorb all of the information at lightning speed, and be able to pick up the nuance of walking in those same boots, with breakneck efficiency.

Integrity and Wellness – The Healing Power Of Truth

INTEGRITY – Your Life Line

Integrity, what does integrity mean to you?  I want you to make a list of the qualities that you believe develops or supports your integrity.  It’s important that you don’t use others beliefs as your benchmark – you need to dig deep inside yourself and come up with your own values.

If you compare yourself to others – you may find it hard to ‘stack up’ to the examples they set OR you may find their examples to be less than stellar and that you shine as a result (giving little motivation to improve).  Either way, you will find it best to look for your own set of values.

Integrity does have one common theme – TRUTH

Once you have that set of values, I want you to “embrace your truth!” This means you need to come to terms with who you are and how you think about things, today. Appreciate the journey you have experienced to date and the lessons you have learned. Remember, the obstacles that you have encountered have molded you into the person you are today so, make the most of the growth you have experienced, but it’s equally important to be honest with yourself as well (after all, life isn’t all roses) thus, building integrity.

Embracing your truth and rejoicing in your journey doesn’t mean you have to broadcast your innermost secrets publically – in fact, it’s an individual exercise that shouldn’t be shared.  In doing this integrity exercise, you will find and embrace the marvelous human you are and will, most likely, look at the world differently. You may find you treat others differently than you have previously – and this is a good thing.  Remember – under the Law of Attraction, how you treat others will be reflected back onto you!

The Impact of Integrity on Your Health

Your body, mind, and spirit become weak and STRESSED when you don’t know yourself, it is like living a lie. You lose integrity and toughness and can easily come under attack from Dis – Ease (this means NOT being at ease, translate it as “disease”). When your body, or you, is under stress – you output less, meaning you aren’t as effective or efficient in any of your undertakings.

When you “live your truth” and start embracing the person you are (or are striving to be), you gain resilience and are much stronger, it all means that you have integrity. Your mental, spiritual, and physical selves will all show a significant difference and, as a result, you can ward off disease of all types and become healthier overall. Naturally, this doesn’t guarantee that you will never get the flu or other diseases however, if you do catch flu or colds they will be less severe, and likely be shortlived, because your ability to fight disease is much greater.

This is what you gain by having your integrity.

When you gain integrity, you also gain momentum that you can use for the things you want to achieve. Your health can (and will) be repaired with your new found energy.
