What is your Lie Temperature? Hot? Warm? Cold?

White lies, little lies, big fat whopping lies, curly tailed lies, and curl you hair lies, and any other type of lie you can think of. Why do people lie so much?

Why do most people lie?

When was the last time you found yourself in an awkward position, and instead of telling the truth, you lied to protect someone’s feelings or you didn’t want the truth to hurt?  Yes, even that is actually a lie.

Some people lie for fun and for gain. After you review this article, you may change the way you do things.  It is a bit of a departure from the comedy movie “Liar Liar” with Jim Carrey.  At least in the movies, it turns out all right.  Just think what it would be if your profession required you to lie as part of your career?

And of course there is the person that doesn’t lie for gain or for that matter, anything else, the compulsive liar. They just must lie about most everything. They even start to believe their lies, and become delusional.

What does lying do to you?

Whenever you create a non-truth, you are setting up a negative vibration in your body.  This vibration has a direct effect on the most finely tuned component in your bodily system.  That component is your brain.  Where do all the signals originate that control all the functions of your body?  Your brain, of course.  So, if you are putting wrenches in the gears of the way your mind works, what do you think is going to happen?

Most of you know about those little white lies, and some of you know about more forms of lying. Some of you may have it honed to an art form. No matter what, they all add up. I refer to this as “congestion” This congestion gets in the way of you making decisions, of seeing the world clearly, and leads to breakdowns of the system itself.

“If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

I heard it as a child, and it has stood the test of time. I changed it a bit though.
“If you cannot say the truth, don’t say anything at all.”

Break the habit.

I had the opportunity to talk to someone that wanted to break their habit of lying.  On advice from a psychologist, they were to wear a rubber band on each wrist, like bracelets.  (Of course, you know what’s coming next…) Any time they lied, for any reason, they were to snap their wrist with the rubber band bracelet.  Unfortunately, they did a lot of lying.  That person eventually had to go to the emergency room of the hospital to have the blisters on their wrists treated.  Point in fact;  lying is a habit that you may find difficult to break.

But, I don’t lie!

I have heard that before, too many times.  Here is a safer, less painful way to find out how much you lie.  Get yourself a notepad and pen that you can easily carry with you.  For a 24-hour period, in your normal every day routine, any time you lie, or say something that is not true, write it down, and the circumstances around it, including any justifications.  You will most likely be amazed at how often you lie throughout your day, and why.

What do I do next?

Now that you have built your scorecard, make an effort to not lie as much the next day.  By keeping score, you will find it easier to decrease the amount that you lie over a period of time.  Think of it as a “Liars Diet”. (Ha Ha!)

What do I have to gain by not lying?

You can start with “respect”.  But this will affect many things that you probably have not even considered;  even your health.  The reason is when you clutter your mind with “junk”, which should not be accumulating;  your brain does not have the ability to function effectively.  This affects your physical body as well as your mental abilities.

You will affect your mental clarity, your decision making process, even your health.  All of these things, and more, are affected any time you are causing congestion.  (Lying is only one source of congestion.)

Brain management is a task you should undertake daily.  It has been shown when people regularly do things that help their brain function properly and exercise their brain;  it lessens the onset of complications like dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

I enjoy helping people with their personal struggle to emerge better than they were.  The brain and the workings of the mind are the fulcrum to making your effort count.

Cheating Teachers Teach Students to Cheat Government

A government program (NAPLAN) to help inform families what quality, or lack of quality, schools Australia wide are demonstrating has been corrupted by the very same teaching industry it was meant to support.

The focal point is an Internet based comparison of schools across the nation.  This would also represent where families may prefer to move their children to more prominently positioned schools.  So, by creation of the comparisons that were easily accessible by concerned families, it forced the school system to face the words that strike fear into the heart of traditional teachers everywhere – “Outcome Based Teaching”.

Disclaimer:

Before I get started, please recognize that this article is not meant to villainize anyone.  Teachers and school administrators are human, with human responses to circumstances presented to them.  It is unfortunate that a few bad apples spoil it for the lot.  The ramifications of the actions of the few have caused much grief for everyone concerned.

But, even beyond this vile action, teachers everywhere need to remember how much they influence the next generation of adults in the ways they think, act and feel about issues that will crop up in their adult life.  If their sense of justice is skewed, so will the results in how they address their circumstances.

Moving on…

So, let’s first discover why this would cause teachers and school administrators to support such dire actions.  When people move their children to a more affluent school, the school they left loses money.  OUCH! The money then is given to the school that gains more students.  The more affluent school then is attracting more money.  (That’s good for the administration of that school.)  So really it all comes down to money, NOT quality of education.

Now, let’s find out what these enterprising teachers and administrators chose to do to keep their position, or even raise their position, with regards of this new charted system.  Standardized tests were given out to all the schools.  Testing was to be scheduled, proctored, and the individual students were NOT to be coached on answering the questions on the test in any way.  Therefore, the results of the tests would show which schools were doing a better job teaching their students than their counterparts.

The Conspiracy:  Teachers cheated.

Here are some examples of what took place:

  • Leaking of the tests to students
  • Coaching the class to arrive at the correct answer
  • Giving the class the right answers
  • Collusion – getting answers from others in the testing area
  • Poor students were NOT permitted to take the tests
  • Poor students were taken to other rooms or kept home, so they could not attend the tests
  • http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/05/11/2896141.htm

So here is a billion dollar government “waste of time and money”.  These actions completely corrupted the findings.  Keep in mind, since it cannot be clearly determined how many teachers were involved, it cannot be estimated how the overall scoring was affected.  Therefore, the information is completely flawed and cannot be trusted.  Also, let’s not forget about the school administration.  From what level in the school systems would the command to create such a travesty come from?  Teachers have been conditioned to act only upon the direct advisement of their superiors, even for the topics they are allowed to teach.

What are the lessons here?

  • Teachers are human.  They can lie or cheat.
  • If you don’t like the possible outcome, change it by cheating or lying.
  • Teachers fail to teach well.  Therefore they must cheat to keep what they have gained along the way.
  • Teachers are not to be held responsible for doing their job.  Nor should “great” teachers be rewarded for their efforts.

The most important lesson is not directly about the teachers, but about who is observing what they are doing – the students. What message is this sending to them?

  • It’s alright to cheat others, as long as you get ahead.
  • It is fine to toss millions and billions of taxpayer dollars to the wind by undermining the results.
  • It is fine to sabotage others for the sake of your own petty greed.

What is the lesson that really needs to be learned here that nobody involved is paying attention to?

There would be no need to cheat, undermine, or sabotage the results if teachers were competent and taught their students to be their best. If teachers were doing a fine job, then the question would not be asked in the first place.

Sure, teachers are not going to create a generation of standing geniuses. But, they can teach them a range of important things that are passed over, or at very least are not taken seriously, by the current teaching practices:

Truth
Honor
Loyalty
Discipline
Commitment
Responsibility

Thus, you see a prime example of what happens when teachers don’t – CORRUPTION.

So far I have provided you with a problem that could have a significant outcome that would strengthen the overall schooling system with outcome based teaching.  I have also provided what transpired that sabotaged the government’s efforts that would have led to your children receiving a better overall education by raising the standards.  I have also pointed out certain ideals that teachers are in the optimum place to demonstrate, encourage, and instill into the minds of their students.

What I haven’t offered you yet is a solution to the actual problem to begin with.  Well, here it is:

A Little Mind Altering Experiment:

Imagine that Mental Photography, ZOXing, was taught in school side-by-side with reading.  (We know it can be done.)  We have calculated that a person would have consumed all of their information, from Kindergarten to Grade 12 by the age of 9 – 10 years old.  (Maybe up to 12 years old for those that have issues with disciplining themselves.)  They would then be ready to take on college level information.  By the age of 12, they could have a Bachelors Degree, and moving into their Masters Degree.  (For the less disciplined students; 14 – 16 years for their first degree.)  And we could be turning out Doctors by the age of 16 or even less.

The ramifications are immense. Most of this conversation will be reserved for a later article.  The classroom population and the way teachers administered the knowledge would be completely changed.  To keep this short, I will briefly go over the important points.

Class size would be cut from 30 – 40 students down to 3 – 6 students per teacher.  Teachers are always complaining that class size is too large; therefore they cannot give any one student enough attention.  This would not only allow them to give ample attention to each student, but students that have similar likes and dislikes could be grouped together for a better learning environment.

The teacher’s role would be more the Guide or Mentor. They would provide the structure, but would also be on hand to guide the student, and to help them understand complex issues.

The emerging work force would be highly intellectual. They would be much more prepared to face and solve the problems previous generations have left for them to deal with.

With high levels of information also come high levels of responsibility. The student naturally develops a sense of self worth and responsibility for their actions.

In short, society would have a completely different outlook on education.

Teachers would not need to cheat

In the previous discussion, teachers felt they needed to cheat a system of accountability to assure they would not lose position or their employment.  In the scenario I have just painted for you, teachers would be respected for guiding their students faster than anyone can imagine in today’s world.

There would be no need to have comparisons between schools to begin with, so the website that was created would not be needed.

Parents would be happy with their child’s stellar performance, and would not need to seek better more affluent schools.

School administrators could do their job comfortable in the knowledge that their responsible position would not be challenged because even what used to be considered “unteachable” were now being taught; so they could take their place in society. Some of these would turn out to be off-the-chart geniuses that would have fallen through the cracks.

You are asking:  “So why is it not being done already?”

Often I am asked why such a superior devise such as Mental Photography is not taught in schools?  Hopefully, this will shed some light on the reasons why.  And yes, it doesn’t make sense.

Again, I will keep this short. Besides the curriculum not set up to accommodate this accelerated learning pace, there are factors which are outside of the intended outcome, but do structure how things are done.

BureaucracyGovernment organizations do not accommodate these changes.

Teachers – Don’t want to change the way they are teaching. (There are renegade teachers that do want this.)

Parents – Many parents don’t understand it therefore don’t want it; because they were not taught this way.

Legacy – The way things have been done for over a century.

And there are other minor factors.

In Conclusion:

The events that took place and caused this article to be written in the first place are ludicrous.  This article points out the crux of why the educational system fails to teach properly – the human factor.  Isn’t it about time that teachers and school administrators take responsibility for how they influence the future?  (Again, I am suggesting only a small number of these people have caused grief for everyone in the industry.  There are only a few rotten apples in the mix.)

I have accepted the fact that Brain Management and ZOX Pro Training does influence the world – one person at a time.  Brain Management and ZOX Pro Training were created to free people from the things that bind them.

Are You Jealous?

Are You Jealous that Others Achieve Easier?

I can safely assume that the majority of my readers do not rank in the top 5% of their class, their performance, or their success.  If that was not the case, then you would not be coming here to learn the tools to get ahead in life, and to gain your competitive edge.   And if you are in that top 5%, well kudos to you for being there.  Now, in order to stay in the top 5%, you have something to gain here too.

What about me …!

Let’s start with school.  For many of you, school starts soon.  Here comes another year for you to be intimidated by the top 5% that Ace every test without breaking a sweat.  Are you tired of spending all the long hours reading or speed reading, creating outlines to map the information, study groups, taking mock exams, tutoring, and other things just to pass your exams with a moderate grade?

After all that effort, you don’t have time to do anything else.  You may even give up sleep for your study time.  When it comes to test time, you sit there thinking about all the time and effort you spent to pass this test – the stress piles up.  The test arrives, you look at it, and it appears that it is in Greek;  and you don’t know Greek.  You’re sweating profusely as you take the exam.  How well do you think you did?  Oh…

This scenario plays out all across the planet every day of the week.  What makes you think that you can be like the guy sitting next to you?  The one you always see hanging out with his friends, having a good time.  He has plenty of time to enjoy life.  He never studies. He just sits down, takes the test, and is always the first one done.  That’s NOT FAIR!

What can I do?

So, how can you turn this around?  How can you be in the top 5%? What are you willing to do to get there?  Are you tired of getting compared to “that great achiever”?

What if you are in a professional or competitive environment?  Really it is not much different from the school environment you knew.  And just like school, there seems to be that “natural” go getter that everything seems to fall his way.  Maybe it is even that same guy from school;  the one you couldn’t keep up with.  WOW!  This really isn’t fair now.

So finally you get fed up with not being able to compete with those “great achievers” out there.  So you decide you are going to make yourself better.  Maybe you go back to school, or go to positive motivational seminars, or get involved with groups that have intellectual pursuits.  There are a million things you can do.  At least do something.

But all of these things tend to take TIME.  Time really is not on your side.  Sure you are out there doing something to make yourself better, but you don’t really see things happening at the speed you need them to happen.  So every time you look in the mirror, you still see the “loser” within.  That is not the way it is meant to happen.

(Now I don’t want you to feel bad if this relates to what you are experiencing in your heart.  Psychologists will tell you that most people do exactly that.  It is because we judge ourselves more harshly than anyone else would judge us.)

Now I am going to give you something to think about.  Whether it be your schoolwork, your job, relationships, or just about anything else you need to change or improve;  you need a superior source of information.  What I mean by a superior source of information is NOT the information itself.  It is how you receive and use the information.  If you do not get quality information quickly, then you cannot be your best.  You cannot be the outstanding person you want to be.

Beyond speed reading speeds there is a much faster, all-natural way to take in information and learn at light speedMental Photography, or ZOXing.  It gives you information at incredible speed as it taps into your misplaced eidetic or photographic memory.  Don’t worry.  You still have the ability to use your photographic memory.  Other people exercise it for you daily, like subliminal advertisers.

Here is another aspect that will completely change the way you even look at learning.  It is highly beneficial to Mental Photography and living life to its fullest.

Change Your Mind …

If you want to change yourself to be a more positive successful person, you need something that is going to change your mind.  No, not a suggestion that turns NOs into YESs.  You need something that will totally change the way you operate.  In your world you are probably living in a very un-eventful and un-successful  life.  You want to change all that.  Whatever this thing is, you need to be the one controlling it.  You need to be at the helm.  You must learn to manage your brain and take control of your mind!

You can demonstrate to yourself a perception of how you see the world.  Here is what to do:  Hold your finger up in front of you.  Look directly at it.  Without moving your eyes or your head, notice how wide your field of vision is.  In other words, without moving your eyes, how far to the right and left do you see?  Whatever your field of vision sees is called your peripheral vision.

Most people find their peripheral vision is narrow.  This is also the way those people see the world – with a narrow view.  They are narrow minded people.  If you are narrow minded, it  directly impacts on your ability to see the possibilities, or the solutions you need.

Since peripheral vision can be increased to 180 – 230 degrees, how much of your world are you NOT seeing?  Likewise, your mind is limited to receiving a much smaller amount of information that it is capable of, so you cannot perceive the greatness you have inside of you.

If you want change, you must OPEN YOUR EYES!

So, what does peripheral vision, seeing your world differently, changing your mind, and being in control of your brain have to do with your ability to perform as well as the other guy in the top 5%?

EVERYTHING!

(Think about it.)

Increasing peripheral vision is so important that all of our trainings teach you to open your peripheral vision.  It is that important for you.
