Part 2 – Autism and the Adult Photographic Memory

Some time ago, I wrote an article called “Proof of the Adult Photographic Memory Hiding in the Shadows of Autism”. It talked about twin autistic savants (referred to as the Rain Man Twins) that could remember everything down to the finest detail, for the entirety of their lives.

That article is quite meaningful, because it points out the different lifestyle they lead in comparison to the majority of the populace. The most outstanding difference was the lack of decision making. They simply didn’t need to make decisions on a daily basis like most people must. They adhered to a regimen, and if something happened that changed their routine, it had disastrous effects.

Well, I now have something else to reveal to you that has been passed on to me by one of my clients. Another autistic savant, Stephen Wiltshire, which is referred to as the “Human Camera”. He draws entire cityscapes from memory. From his unique abilities, he has been encouraged to create a business by supportive family members.

A reoccurring theme that I have observed form the documented cases I have seen, at least most of the savants have some form of autism, and tend to be anti-social – they have problems when they must interact with other people. Stephen Wiltshire expresses this problem too, as he didn’t learn to talk until the age of 5, and was not conversant until the age of 9, which is revealed in this video clip.

As the previous article pointed out, there is plenty of proof that the adult photographic memory is alive and well and doing a lot of great things for people. The second most profound concurrence, and in my opinion is of more importance, is the more you can mentally isolate yourself from the daily trappings of the normal plethora of distractions, the easier it becomes to tap into your natural abilities such as the photographic memory.

Brain Joke: Rhinoplasty – Revisited

Once in a while I want to see what my fans sensibilities are. This was one of those times. It is with no surprise that I confounded quite a few people with a joke.

The joke (for reference) again is:

I just had Rhinoplasty, because eyes nose too much.

1. No, I did not have rhinoplasty. It is a joke. But thanks for the concern.

2. Rhinoplasty is plastic surgery or reconstructive surgery around the proboscis / nose area of the face.

3. If a person just had rhinoplasty performed on their face, most likely that person would be numb enough to slur their words. So, “eyes nose” translates to “I know”.

4. And of course the play on the words “eyes” and “nose” as the area most likely affected by rhinoplasty.

5. Then, the resulting phrase “I know too much” results from my personal adventure with Mental Photography or ZOXing, and the amount of knowledge I have gained over the years of using the system I teach.

So, there you have it.

Ponder this; I was able to contain all that information, and a few things not discussed, into a single phrase. As a source of personal entertainment, try it for yourself and see how you do.

Brain Joke: Rhinoplasty Smells Bad – Think

If I ever give you a joke, you should cherish it as a unique day. Well, today is a unique day.

Typical of the types of jokes that would have me rolling around on the floor laughing, usually leaves others wondering or thinking what the joke was all about. My jokes tend to be deep, thought provoking, and like this joke, it pokes fun at society.

Without any further lead up to my twisted brain teasing, mind altering Joke, here it is:

I just had Rhinoplasty, because eyes nose too much.

Now for those of you that just didn’t get it, I’ll give you a hint. Say, “Eyes Nose too much” 3 times fast and out loud. You should be able to get it then.
