Be Surprised About Father’s Day

Father’s Day

Do you know when was the FIRST Father’s Day Celebration held?

My curiosity drove me to research Father’s Day. What I found, was quite a surprise to me…

The First Father’s Day:

In 1910, a Father’s Day celebration was held in Spokane, Washington, at the YMCA by Sonora Smart Dodd. Its first celebration was in the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his six children. After hearing a sermon about Jarvis’ Mother’s Day, she told her pastor that fathers should have a similar holiday honoring them.

Several local clergymen accepted the idea, and on 19 June 1910, the first Father’s Day, “sermons honoring fathers were presented throughout the city”.

Happy Father’s Day!

Born out of Speed Reading

Richard Welch, before he was known as the “Father of Mental Photography”, bought the American Speed Reading Academy in Phoenix, Arizona. After finding the deficits with speed reading, Richard challenged his staff to discover a great deal more; and discover they did! Out of speed reading came a hyper speed reading method using your photographic memory we now know as Mental Photography, or ZOXing. At 25,000, 50,000, 100,000 words per minute and faster, a new benchmark was born for the education and learning industries.

Since 1975, the Brain Management Seminar was taught primarily in the United States and Canada.

Brain Management becomes global

Back in the 1990s there was sudden interest to have Brain Management and Mental Photography taught in different areas of the world. Since Educom / Brain Management did not have Instructors all over the world, the company solved the problem by introducing an “at home” version of the seminar – the Brain Management and Mental Photography Home Version which was sent out to all corners of the globe.

What made the Home Study Training effective is it was created from a successful seminar teaching our principles of Mental Photography, use of the photographic memory, accelerated learning, advanced discovery, and more. These are the same qualities found in ZOX Pro Training today.

ZOX Pro Training is born

Finally, in 1998, ZOX Pro Training was introduced through the Internet to the world at large through a digital platform. The support provided by ZOX Pro Training is paramount to consistent client results.

Quality Assurance

Only these trainings in their original form provide the path of least resistance for people seeking to enhance their lives with the results offered here. Quality assurance for the client mandates that only our Certified Instructors be allowed to present these trainings.

Memorial Day – The Day of Heroes (Soldiers, Defenders…)

Memorial Day

Most countries around the world have their version of Memorial Day to remember their soldiers, defenders, and their heroes of the past. Most are ultimately the forgotten fallen, and many will always remain the “nameless soldier“.

Heroes are Created

Most Heroes never intend to be heroes. They are born out of circumstance and chaos. You may be living next to a #hero and never know it. People can be heroes to a single person, a few people, or to many. And yes, most real heroes do not want to be recognized as a hero for doing good deeds or deeds of valor. They are the kings of the selfless act. As their laurel wreath on the mantelpiece fades and decays, they live their lives influencing others to lead the honorable life.

Hope and Reminiscence

Sure, hope may seem idealistic, naive, and in some ways just unrealistic. Everyone needs their heroes – a cornerstone of the community, someone to count on when things go awry, or just a belief there is still good in the world; no matter how you are set upon by others. Heroes give us words of hope. If you truly give up #hope, then you are lost. There is always room for hope. The only way you can lose hope is to give it up yourself. Hope does not cost you anything, and provides you momentum where there is none.

Never Give Up!

Memorial Day

Time to reflect on what has already happened, and the moment to make decisions for your future.

Use this moment to remember your pastyour deeds, your triumphs and your failures.

“History tends to repeat itself”

The reason for this quote is people tend to forget their failures and only concentrate on their successes. When you forget your failures and the lessons they taught you, then you commit yourself to repeat your previous mistakes, thus; history repeats itself.

Your life is a series of choices. Each decision you make, no matter how large or small, influences and changes the direction your path will take through life. That is why it is important to learn the lessons from your previous defeats.

Hero… You have many more decisions to make.

Tread carefully,
