Do you Know Every Problem has a Solution

More than One Way to Skin a Cat: Adventures in Creative Thinking

People have Problems…

How many times have you caught yourself saying that there could be no other solution to a problem – and that that #problem leads to a dead end? How many times have you felt stumped knowing that the problem laying before you is one you cannot solve. No leads.  No options.  No #solution.

No Solution in Sight

Does it feel like you had exhausted all possible options and yet are still before the mountain – large, unconquerable, and impregnable? When encountering such enormous problems, you may feel like you’re hammering against a steel mountain. The pressure of having to solve such a problem may be overwhelming.

But rejoice! There might be some hope yet!

Creative Problem Solving

With some creative problem solving techniques you may be able to look at your problem in a different light. And that light might just be the end of the tunnel that leads to possible solutions.

First of all, in the light of creative problem solving, you must be open-minded to the fact that there may be more than just one solution to the problem. And, you must be open to the fact that there may be solutions to problems you thought were unsolvable.

Now, with this optimistic mindset, we can try to be a little bit more creative for solutions.

Solving Problems Consciously…

So that you can learn though this experience, I will first point out what most people will do to solve a problem whenever you are working only from the #conscious side. I want to point out just how laborious and consuming this is. It takes on a life of its own.

Qualify Your Problem

First, maybe the reason we cannot solve our problems is that we have not really taken a hard look at what the problem is. Here, in a conscious way, understanding the problem and its workings is integral for solving the problem. This is a typical strategy most people use. If you know how it works, what the problem is, then you have a better foundation towards solving the problem.

Not yet making a simple statement of what problem is, identify the participating entities and what their relationships with one another are. Take note of the things you stand to gain any stand to lose from the current problem. Your potential gain or loss is a point of stress. It tends to block you from seeing the obvious. Keeping that in mind, you can develop a simple statement of what the problem is.

Take Notes

Take note of all of the constraints, and assumptions; including your stress you have. Qualify which assumptions are valid, and which assumptions need to be addressed.

Solve your Problem in Layers

When working from your every-day conscious state of mind, you would likely choose to solve the problem by parts. Solve it going from general view towards the more detailed parts of the problem. This is called the top-down approach. Write down the question, and then come up with a one-sentence solution to that from the question. Your solution should be a general statement of what will solve the problem. From there you can develop the solution further, and increase its complexity little by little.

Creative and Analytical Solution…

Before I reveal this next part, I feel obligated to tell you something important. I am telling you about the conscious way of dealing with problems… But analytical and creative in this case are in opposition because they come from opposite sides of your brain. That in itself will cause a conflict and can directly influence and endanger the results of your efforts to reach a solution. Even though this is a step by step logical approach, you are in serious danger of things spiraling out of control.

Therefore… Although it helps to have critical thinking aboard as you solve a problem, you must also keep a creative, analytical voice at the back of your head. When someone comes up with a prospective solution, consciously think how you could make that solution work. Try to be creative. At the same time, look for chinks in the armor of that solution. There is a good chance you will find some. each one must be addressed as well.

Good Memory Pays Dividends…

It pays to remember that there may be more than just one solution being developed at one time; possibly by more than just yourself. Try to keep track of all the solutions and their developments. Remember, there may be more than just one solution to the problem.

If More than One Person involved…

Remember that old adage, two heads are better than one for problems solution.” That one is truer than it sounds. Always be open to new ideas. You can only benefit from listening to all the ideas each person has. This is especially true when the person you’re talking to has had experience solving problems similar to yours.

You don’t have to be a hero to solve the problem. If you can organize collective thought on the subject, it would be much better.

Commitment to Solve the Problem

Be patient. As long as you persevere, there is always a chance that a solution will present itself. RIGHT!!! Hah! Actually, it more likely that your subconscious is what steps into the fray, even without your knowledge, to present a clear path to the solution. It usually happens overnight, when you have slept. But in most cases your conscious mind will be given the credit.

Creative Thinking Works…

Creative thinking exercises can also help you in your quest be a more creative problems solver.

Here is one example.

The next time you have a problem you want to solve (Yes, you actually must want to solve it.), before going to bed to sleep, think about the problem. Then tell yourself you will know the solution when you wake up. Eureka! When you wake up in the morning, there is the solution. This method is called “Sleeping on it.” Most everyone has done this before, because it works.

So, next time you see a problem you think you can not solve, think again. The solution might just be staring you right in the face. All it takes is just a little #CreativeThinking, some planning, and a whole lot of work.

The SECRET to Problem Solving…

I hope you got this far in this article. The method I described to you above is truly time consuming and labor intensive. Sure, it may look good on paper when the Boss asks you for a progress report. But, at the end of the day, what is most important? Satisfying the Boss’s attention to detail or solving the problem? Probably a little of both; with the end result of solving the problem, which makes you the Champion!

You can still do all the remedial work if needed. But when faced with a fast #ProblemSolving, put it to the real doer of your brain; your subconscious mind. It will give you results far faster than writing down the details in your report.

Disasters come in all shapes and sizes. It can be a natural disaster such as an earthquake, tidal wave, tornado or flash flood. It can be a personal tragedy like the loss of a job or a loved one or even something that appears trivial, such as dropping that first cup of coffee on the floor as  you’re rushing out the door – late again.

Brain Management: Overcome Your Beliefs

You may have heard the saying:

“YOU are the only thing that is keeping YOU from achieving your goals.”

Some of you may wonder how you can prevent yourself from becoming wealthy when you do the best that you can.  The simple fact is that when you were young, you had people instructing you on the ways of the world.  Some of the things they told you were wrong.

Two Truisms as Examples

Money Corrupts

I would say that the LACK of money is what is corrupting minds of people and forcing them to act the way they do, for instance, feeling forced to commit crimes.  But in truth, greed is what causes us to believe money is never enough.  Remember, wealth comes in many forms.  Be sure you choose the right form of wealth for you.

The harder you work, the further you get

If this were actually true, ditch diggers would be millionaires. But in truth, they could dig ditches until the cows come home but the only “further” they get is in getting more ditches dug.  Still, some people think working hard is the road to wealth and success. But in truth, the key to success is not hard work but Smart Work.

You need a strategy and a plan. Without setting your goal, no matter how hard you work, you will get nowhere.  You need to visualize yourself achieving how far you will go.  Set a detailed plan on how you can achieve your mission and what steps you need to make to get there.

Hint: Start your journey from within. If anything will sabotage you along the way it will be YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS! Only Brain Management can bypass your conscious mind.

Mindset- Are You Attracting Streets Lined With Gold?

Are Your Streets Lined With Gold?

Leave Your Poverty Mindset Behind You with Brain Management

To begin, here is a quote you may have heard. But, it is flawed because it is very limiting:

“Success is NOT gauged on what you have gained, but by what you have given up.”

In the Law of Attraction, if you think you have given up (or lost) something along the way, you automatically attract whatever you were unfortunate (or fortunate) enough to lose back into your life.  This includes a poverty mindset.  But you can change your views to ensure that you don’t re-attract it back into your life, by being true to yourself, committed, resourceful and passionate on your path to success.

Like Losing and Old Friend . . .

Leaving poverty consciousness behind is difficult. The subconscious mind is protecting you by keeping that poverty consciousness in place. Until you address it, you will continually sabotage yourself in an effort to change your life.  That poverty mindset definition is like an old friend. You can rely on it even though it causes you problems. You’re comfortable with your old friend, making pains to protect it against criticism. Leaving a poverty mindset behind and developing a positive mindset feels like you are tossing an old friend into a rubbish heap.  It can cause a lot of pain.  But what if what you’re leaving behind allows you to make room for newer, positive mindset list and positive attributes and outcomes. It’s always better to have a positive mindset with positive mentality and success will  Isn’t that a good thing?

Be Dedicated, Be Committed – Persevere

To truly leave unwanted baggage behind, you must be dedicated, committed and simply persevere until you achieve what you are seeking.  Most of us understand that dedication and commitment are inextricably linked with each other.

So what is perseverance? Perseverance is “sticking power.” how long you stick at something, simply keep plugging away until you achieve your objective.

Perseverance can sometimes be called “The Fight.”

When you are engaged in “The Fight,” there could be no outcome at all – no winner, no loser. But you should embrace the lessons you experience and become the better for them. This is where Brain Management comes into play. Use these techniques to help you embed the lessons from your experiences into your subconscious.

Integrity, Clarity & You

Gain Clarity – Mental Photography can be used to learn how to “Manage Your Brain” so you will know exactly where you need to be in life.

To achieve this level of clarity, you will need to access your subconscious.  Your subconscious literally provides the road-map to exactly where you should be in life.  By tapping into your subconscious, you not only will find your way through life, you will do so with a lot less stress.

It’s possible that you will try to tap into your subconscious using a tool like Mental Photography (which include training, subliminal audio or video, techniques, brain entrainment technology, etc.).  If you are using one of these avenues, I want you to keep in mind that YOUR objective is, ultimately, to gain clarity. Don’t buy into, or participate in, an outside agenda different from your own, because it will affect the clarity of finding yourself.  Some programs and equipment have other agendas that are not aligned with your ideals and you really need to steer clear of them.

I have encountered some organizations that really ‘load up’ their assistance tools with their own agendas – and this really affects the clarity you can achieve.  For example, one program stopped a person from promoting, marketing, or assisting any other organization – this resulted in a continual cycle of self-sabotage. Once the person saw what had caused the problem, they felt betrayed by the organization that installed it.  This person went on to delete the program ‘on their own’, with a little assistance from our program, Mental Photography. The result:  the person took control of their own mind and directed their own agenda.

Once you have found the best avenue to gain access to your subconscious, you need to develop strategies that facilitate your personal integrity and include asking for feedback from your subconscious!

Mental Photography can help your subconscious gain clarity – to guide to the correct path.

If you truly want clarity, or a heightened focus to gain your objectives, you need exercise your brain to strengthen it.  Mental Photography is an incredibly powerful way to exercise the brain with some incredibly positive results.  When you engage in Mental Photography, you will achieve a the necessary clarity to help you gain the results you want, with integrity, according to your own agenda – As You See Fit!

I want to develop my clarity – where can I learn more about Mental Photography?

Start here. You will find many articles about the benefits of using Mental Photography here at Mind To Mind (www.MINDtoMIND.com/)
