Retirement Planning – How to Build Your Retirement Plan

RetirementSuccess is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom” What is success? Success begins with how you think. No one can just “think” their way to success – they must ACT to make it happen.

Thinking about changing careers because you are discontent? The statistics show that 80% of people age 45+ consider changing careers. Almost half of adults are not completely satisfied with the requirements, lack of flexibility, risks and compensation of their current jobs. Many of these individuals will consider changing careers.

Thinking of retirement at 50? Early retirement planning requires a savings and investment plan that begins early in life. Most of the population has less than $5,000 in the bank for early retirement.

Most people plan to retire in their mid-60s. This is the age range when Social Security benefits become available. At age 65 63% of people are dependent on Social Security, friends, relatives or charity. Only 3% will still be working (most can’t afford to quit and work until they are no longer physically capable) and only 4% will have adequate capital stowed away for retirement.

“Mind To Mind ZOX Pro Information Research”

At the present time, it is impossible to support a family of two working full time at minimum wage! To think about retirement at this point is impossible.  For the first time in history, the current generation is averaging a lower standard of living than their parents! Automation is taking layoffs to record highs!

Personal finance money MSN reports that you may never retire: The U.S. government has already acknowledged that the official retirement age will need to increase further than the already-revised 67 years. “Retirement ages will have to move to 70, 80 years old,” “making pensions, medical services more affordable. They will keep people working longer and will take that burden off of the youth.”

The Bureau of Statistics says that out of 100 people that start working at the age of 25, by the age of 65…

– 1 is wealthy

– 4 have enough money to retire

– 63 depend on Social Security or charity

– 29 are deceased

95% of people, age 65 and over cannot afford to retire and work until they die!!

And that’s only IF they have jobs to be able to work.

Economically for Retirement

Even huge corporations are SLASHING employees to the minimum …more than half their work force will end up out on the streets looking for a new source of income. No wonder we have lost our faith in “Big Business”

In John Paul Getty’s book, “How To Get Rich,” his first rule for success is, “You must be in business for yourself.  You will never get rich working for someone else.”

We heard about one highly qualified engineer who ended up out on the street after giving 25 dedicated years to his job. His advice?

“Don’t do what I did — wasting 25 years building equity in someone else’s business. Do yourself a favor and start building equity in yourself now!”

Growing Concentration of Wealth

The world’s millionaires and billionaires now control 38.5% of the world’s wealth. Even in the Global Economic Crisis, most of these people were not affected. Even if some did feel the crunch it is still only 1% in control of the global wealth.

So, with only 1% of the people really being in control of most of the world’s wealth, then 99% of the rest of the global population must struggle over the leftovers.   I am reporting the news, not taking sides.

Start making a change for yourself in self-reliance start your retirement plan now, ask yourself, “What should I do? Where do I start?” You can start by providing yourself with GOOD information, fast!

I realize that many of you don’t want to spend the time and energy to learn a new system that provides the tools you need.  In that case, you will most likely remain one of the 99% of working class that does not have a viable retirement, and you will definitely never be in the 1% that controls the wealth of the world.

You may get along very well, even though you do not have this system under your belt.  But, you could also be looking back 5 or 10 years from now, saying, “What if I…”

I don’t like painting the picture of Global Evils that are sitting on the threshold of your doorway.  There are already too many people that are doing that for you daily.  You can start with the media.   I would just like to help you become prepared to deal with things, instead of sticking your head in the sand and hoping it all goes away.  The truth – It WON’T go away.

I know that people from all walks of life benefit in many ways from ZOX Pro Training (Mental Photography).  I have no doubt that you would benefit too. I want everyone to have a happy and sustainable life. What if this training is the key to you having a better life; and you dismissed it.  I strongly urge you to take your next step forward.  Don’t stand in the way of what could be yours.

Brain Management: Life Lessons, Pain & Success

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Learn from your experiences”.  Whilst this is true, it is not necessarily true that you need to personally experience the lesson to any great degree in order to learn from it.  It is possible for you to learn from the lessons’ that others have experienced and the roads they have traveled.  In learning from others experiences, you can receive the full benefit of those lessons and avoid the pain that often accompanies such learning.

Pain is Life’s Great Teacher

Let’s face it, pain is associated with all lessons. To find out which lesson you’re supposed to be learning, you need to look at the source of your pain and whatever it is attached to (physical, health, stress, spiritual, emotional, financial etc) – what remains is the base lesson you need to learn.

If we fail to learn the lesson the first time, the lesson is presented again and again.  Until we learn the lesson, we will experience the same pain each time.

Success is “What We Have Given Up”

The quote is “Success is NOT gauged on what you have gained, but by what you have given up”. However, the Law of Attraction contradicts this and the implication that success is measured by what you have given up, has negative connotations.

A person who believes that success is based on what you have given up,  is likely to have suffered a lot of pain during their journey to success – thus considering their success as a series of concessions or losses.

Someone who has enjoyed their journey, will not view it as what they have given up or lost.  Their view of success will have a more positive outlook.

The thing is that each person will deal with the quote as they choose, based on their experiences.

Perseverance Is The Key

You will learn from your pain and experiences, just as you would eat an elephant – one bite at a time. Eventually you will get there, stronger than you started and with more knowledge.

As you choose to pursue success, you need to answer the following questions:

  • What is your success strategy?
  • Just how committed are you to achieving this success?
  • How determined are you in achieving the goal?
  • Will you persevere through adverse conditions and experiences?
  • Do you have enough willpower and focus to see you through?

Out of all of these qualities, it is the perseverance, stamina and commitment that will see you through to the end.  Having a perfect plan, but no stamina will most likely result in failing to achieve the goal.  However, having a less than perfect plan but a strong balance of the other attributes will more likely result in success.

Using Brain Management techniques, you will increase your brain power and subconscious mind power.  Not only are you improving yourself, you are adding to the global consciousness in a phenomenal way.

Leave Your Poverty Mindset At The Door, With Brain Management

The quote “Success is NOT gauged on what you have gained, but by what you have given up” is limited. In the Law of Attraction, if you think you have given up (or lost) something along the way, you automatically attract whatever you were unfortunate (or fortunate) enough to lose back into your life.  This includes a poverty mindset.

In understanding this, you can change how you view what you have lost (or given up) to ensure that you don’t re-attract it back into your life.  One way you can do this, is to focus on being true to yourself, committed, resourceful, and passionate on your path of success.  Isn’t it better to view those things you have given up, as making room for these values / attributes in your life?  Certainly, leaving a poverty mindset behind and making room to be resourceful in generating more income is a great thing.

Like Losing an Old Friend…

Leaving a poverty consciousness behind is difficult; the subconscious mind is protecting you by keeping that poverty consciousness in place and until you address it, you will continually sabotage yourself in any effort to change your life.

Let’s think of the poverty mindset as an Old Friend that has been around forever. It is something you can rely on even though this friend brought their problems with them. This friend (mindset) is something you are comfortable with, and you have likely taken great pains to protect it against criticism and made excuses for it.  Leaving this mindset behind feels like you are tossing that old friend onto the rubbish heap and not looking back.

Leaving our old friend behind can cause a lot of pain – but does it really have to be? If what you’re leaving behind allows you to make room for newer, more positive attributes – isn’t that a good thing?

Be Dedicated, Be Committed – Persevere

To truly leave your ‘unwanted’ baggage behind, you need to be dedicated, committed and simply persevere until you achieve what you are seeking.

Most of us understand what dedication and commitment mean and that the two are inextricably linked with each other however, we are often confused by what perseverance actually is.  Perseverance is ‘sticking power’ – how long you stick at something, simply keep plugging away until you achieve your objective.

Perseverance is different for every one – it is based on your own values. How long you stick to your guns and decide what to give up, is completely up to you.

Perseverance can sometimes be called “The Fight”.

When you are engaged in “The Fight”, there could actually be no outcome – no winner, no loser. However, you should embrace all of the lessons you experience and become the better for them.  This is where Brain Management comes into play – you can use these techniques to help you embed the lessons from your experiences in your subconscious.

Remember – when you eat an elephant, you eat it bite by bite… this is just what I mean by perseverance.

Train Your Mind To Craft The Life You Want

Be Successful…

Recently, I discussed how your beliefs affect your ability to become wealthy.  Today, I want to share a few more thoughts and insights about how some of the things you were told when you were young (and that you took on) affect you today.

Successful people DO what unsuccessful people WON’T

THIS IS TRUE: So many people simply give up because it’s too hard. Many VERY wealthy people started their journey with nothing. Are YOU ready to think like, act like and be wealthy, including all of life’s’ ups and downs, or are you just going to sit there dreaming, and criticizing others for having a go at doing great things?

If you limit yourself to your existing capabilities, you will not go further. If you want to be successful, do not sit there and wonder how others do it. Go out and do something about it. Force your mind to think how can “YOU” achieve your own. Do not let a small thing such as money block you from becoming successful. Find a way to get around it.

Success is gauged on how much you have given up

Another “TRUTH”. How much are you willing to give up to get to where YOU SAY you want to be? Would you put EVERYTHING on the line to get there? Or would you rather play it safe and stay within your comfort zone.

Self-limitation and risk takes a big part on the whole success and wealth scenario. Sometimes, you need to give up everything to get you where you want to be. Ask yourself this: are you willing to risk it all to become successful or how much are you willing to risk getting on top?

A penny saved is a penny earned

Not True. Do the math. Unless you are a compulsive gambler, this is not true.

Life is fair

Stop kidding yourself! Life will always have challenges and problems which will not seem fair. This is how it worked before and how it still works. It is your obligation to adjust in life and accept your achievements.

Mind To Mind is all about the complex nature of the brain & mind.

It’s up to you to make the appropriate changes to craft the life you wish to have.  If you really want something, train your mind to think that it is possible to achieve anything. Do not think of the problems, rather think of addressing problems, and finding solutions, as merely another step you need to take, to get to where you want to go.

Do You Have Powerful Vision and Support for Your Life?

Having a vision for your life is powerful and supports your passion

Ask yourself …

Where are you going?

Why do you do what you do?

How do you decide what to do and what not to do?

Are your choices in alignment with your passion?

It seems that few people are able to answer these questions. But, if you can answer the questions confidently and optimistically, your chances of success rise significantly.

The best way to answer the questions is to have a vision for your life; a vision that excites you and generates energy for you, leading to increased productivity and personal effectiveness.

A vision for your life is a SEEING concept: what is the ideal life, in 5, 10 and 20 years’ time that you can visualize for yourself?

Some examples of a personal Vision that I have suggested to my coaching clients and to attendees in my passion workshops are:

∞ My vision is that I am a well-regarded and competent business leader who is making a difference on the planet

∞ My vision is that I have made a significant contribution globally to eradicating world poverty

∞ My vision is that I have 5,000 internet clients who pay me monthly sums that enable me to handle all my financial requirements with ease and comfort

∞ My vision is that I am a Minister of the Government and have an impeccable reputation

∞ My vision is that I am married to a person who loves me deeply and who supports me in pursuing my passions

∞ My vision is that I am CEO of a top 200 listed company that I earned through my excellence in my profession.

Such a vision also needs to be in alignment with your current passions, as you have discovered them to be through following my blog articles or in any other ways.

Mind to Mind can provide resources for you to continually develop your mental skills to effectively craft such a vision.

When your vision is clear, then:

  • You know where you are going
  • You know why you do what you do
  • You are clear on the factors that you take into account when making decisions.

It’s a great way to live.

I commend it to you.
