Observation Time:
Most of the top politicians in the United States are complaining of headaches, and that they didn’t get it 100% their way.
Really, what do they expect? Even when governments can pull trillions of dollars out of the either, to give them their “space”, it still isn’t enough. Of course there are repercussions from past transgressions, in one way or another.
And belly-aching over not having a AAA credit rating. Boy, that is really a slap in the face for all that “good” effort. Even foreign political leaders are distancing themselves from the terrible deed; and “it is not affecting our countries financial stability”, is the herald.
Let’s take a moment to look at this situation from a different perspective – the Universal Law of Attraction…
The first thing you must do is look at things a little differently than how you usually see things. (If you watch the news, you must learn to take off the rose colored glasses, too.) Think of the United States as 1 entity. Stop looking at it as a collection of people, views, and different opinions and beliefs. The acts of the government extend to all within that system.
Therefore, when your government acts, even a dictatorship, it represents that there is a consensus of agreement from the whole. (Yes, we can get into a debate about that, but that is not the point of this exercise. To keep you on track, I will not be answering any comments regarding political commentary.) This scenario is convenient, as a living example of how the Law of Attraction works.
What committed the US Government to come to this point was a series of events that happened a short time ago – their past decisions on how certain sensitive financial issues were handled then… created the need for them to revisit the results of that decision. The result of a country as large and powerful as the United States defaulting, or going bankrupt would be disastrous, or would it? We may never know.
Back to the Law of Attraction. The US Government also belongs to other systems. It is like tossing a pebble into a pond creating ripples that spread out from the point of impact. In this case the pebble is a boulder. Therefore, it is completely without conscience that political leaders of other nations would choose to distance themselves and their country from the ramifications of what other government bodies do. It is a meaningless act of political self preservation.
It is important for politicians to recognize the important part they play and the effects they have upon the system. It is just as important that you also realize the part you play when selecting the politician of your choice. (Even if you have no choice, you are still represented likewise.) As the many opposing opinions gain and lose strength like the seasons in the wind; choose wisely as even this small act has a causal effect with the Law of Attraction.
I am sure you are wondering why I would bring up such a topic as a subject of exercise. To clearly summarize – TRUTH! Find the truth. The cream always rises to the top.
When you exercise and hone your mind, the truth reveals itself to you. Knowing the TRUTH gives you choices. Without knowing the truth, limits your choices to only what is given to you by others in posturing positions.
What are you willing to do to know the truth?
What would happen if you no longer had any friends or family around to remind you how important you are to them?
What if you had a job where you know how unimportant you are and how easily you could be replaced by another unimportant person?
What if everywhere you went you were just another face in the crowd, unnoticed.
What if the only thing you ever really accomplished in life was to “show up”?
Someone recently reminded me of what self-importance is and how it is sometimes demonstrated. I had a contractor do some work for me. An emergency circumstance occurred that he had to attend to that I was not made aware of. All I knew was he left my job unfinished with no explanation.
So when I contacted him, I was greeted with the ever pending answering machine. I did leave him an urgent message to get back with me and provide an explanation as to why he didn’t finish the job.
When he contacted me, he was upset with me! He immediately started by proclaiming how important he is. After I negotiated a truce, he finally explained about the emergency.
There is nobody that is more or less important than anyone else. What makes us feel important is how others treat us. Some people strive to receive adoration. Some manipulate others to gain followers. Some have created a grandiose self-image. And some will live in misery to attract the attention it provides. All of these create a sense of self-importance. Mostly it is delusional.
The most consistent things about important people is what they do for others. They don’t need to do it loudly or from a pedestal. The just do it. They don’t need appreciation or adoration. Sometimes their actions go unnoticed. And knowing they are important people is not something that is meaningful to their egos.
I guess you could say that describes my wife. She is important to many people. She is relentless at helping others, as well as doing nice things for me. When I tell her she is important, she will usually reply, “That’s nice.”
There are plenty of people all around you that have lost their sense of importance. Take the moment to seek them out during this Holiday Season. Let them know they are important. It may be the most meaningful thing they have heard all year.
Brain Management has many facets.

Geeks are the hardest people to buy for. Things that just don’t make sense are the things they want. They are always asking plenty of questions, and always have their nose stuck in a book or a PC. They want and need challenge, just to drive their insatiable lust for knowledge.

What would your Geek do if you handed them the ultimate leverage to become a Super-Geek? They would be thrilled with the chance to be a raving hot Geek; a Geek that all other Geeks look up to.
First, please be kind to Geeks. They are people too. Geeks just need to be accepted, along with everyone else.
You are hearing it all the time. There are so many people that belong to so many different groups, also known as “socially impaired”, that everyone is reminding everyone else to be tolerant. Geeks are no different than anyone else. Some Geeks stay “in the closet” because they don’t want to be associated with Geekism. They just want to be treated as normal.

I was told when I first embarked upon writing on the Internet, I should write for a third grade intellect. NO! I write in my style. I populate the Internet with Intellectual Intrigue. I am not going to cow-tow to others that have no idea of my intended audience – YOU! In a way, you could say I am a Geek. I am perfectly fine with that.
From one Geek to another, while you are opening up time for further intellectual pursuits, you may want to consider installing a little balance. What I mean by balance is for you to find ways to be just as intellectual in a shorter amount of time. This is handy if you want to be with Geek friends, or if you want to open up your social calendar for people of other persuasions.
What Geek couldn’t resist getting enough brains to blow up a battleship? (The game, silly.) Seriously, if your favorite Geek could learn, by using simple methods, to supercharge his or her brain to take in information at light speed, he or she would jump at the chance.
Oh, and even if you are not a Geek, you can do it too.
